As with all jewellery, limiting prolonged contact with chemicals is the best way to maintain the surface and plating. Products such as perfume, creams, skincare, cleaning products and alcohol-based solutions can gradually affect the finish of the metal, particularly with repeated exposure. We recommend allowing these products to fully dry before wearing your Archivo Sol jewellery.
Archivo Sol jewellery is made using stainless steel bases with premium gold or silver finishes, selected for their durability, resistance to tarnishing, and suitability for everyday wear. While pieces are designed to be waterproof, sweat resistant and suitable for regular use, all jewellery naturally experiences wear over time depending on exposure and care.
To help preserve your jewellery, avoid extended exposure to seawater, chlorine and excessive moisture where possible. Salt water, pool chemicals and high levels of sweat can gradually affect plated finishes over time. When not being worn, we recommend storing pieces separately in a dry space to minimise surface marks and maintain their finish.

CLEAN
To maintain the finish of your Archivo Sol jewellery, we recommend cleaning pieces occasionally using a soft jewellery polishing cloth to gently remove marks and restore shine. Polishing should be done lightly and infrequently, as excessive friction over time may gradually affect plated finishes.
Pieces can also be cleaned using warm water and a small amount of mild soap if needed. We recommend using a soft cloth or non-abrasive fabric when drying or handling jewellery, avoiding rough materials or cleaning products that could scratch the surface or affect the finish.
When not being worn, jewellery should be stored separately in a dry space to help minimise surface wear and preserve the quality of the piece over time.

We recommend storing your Archivo Sol jewellery in a cool, dry space when not being worn to help preserve the finish and minimise unnecessary exposure to moisture, humidity and everyday environmental wear.
All Archivo Sol jewellery is supplied in a protective pouch designed for storage and travel. The soft, non-abrasive interior helps reduce surface marks, while the enclosed structure offers added protection from air exposure, impact and scratches when pieces are being carried or stored.
